Computer People`s exclusive client are seeking a Web Developer possessing 5yrs+ Financial services(Asset management*Hedge fund or Hedge FOF), commercial web design, site management and content management experience with an eye for detail and driven by the quest for the perfect user interface. The ideal candidate will also possess 2yrs+ .NET development with ASP.NET & VB.NET,2 yrs+ experience CSS, iFrames, DHTML and office web components of Share Point Portal Server 2003 and document management methodologies is also essential. This is a technically dynamic & challenging role for an individual who has or desires to work in on a critical project entailing online technology inc intranet, highly trafficked database driven Websites. Responsibilities:
This role will report to the AIMS Project Manager :part of IT.This role will be required to work closely with the project manager to steer and further the design of the Information Management System (IMS) to completion of successful phases of development. A new component of the system must be designed, developed and completed by May 2006. This project is extremely time constrained and delivery focused, with a ?best practice? approach vital.Liaison will be required with the Business to define, clarify, refine and steer requirements.IT development, support and DBA?s to ensure that the environments and data requirements are achieved and supportable.Project Manager to report on progress, raise issues and attend design standards meetings.Marketing*Sales team, to ensure external sites remains on message and within brand guidelines.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the system is developed in accordance to my clients coding standards. The components of the system are currently expected to be:
Back-end
Data reception*Collection system, including data extraction (probably from XML), validation and transformation routines
SQL database*Tables*Views*Indexes*Stored Procedures creation and administration
Front-end
Creation of IMS system ?Modules?
Design of the user interface within website context, including obtaining feedback to validate
Presentation of data in an meaningful and appropriate way allowing complex navigation
Integration Windows AD security authentication model
Creation of printer friendly, excel download and pdf creation and download routines
Creation of a documentation and Training*User Guide Materials.Skills required:Must be strong in the following,
.Net, VB.net DHTML : Extensive commercial web based design,Extensive SQL query, Crystal reports development knowledge,XML schema design, CSS, XSL design,Office web component knowledge,Good Customer facing & negotiation skills,Excellent GUI design and web layout skills.Extensive Sharepoint web-part design knowledge,
